Mountain View Tire founder and President Nick Mitsos opened his first Goodyear retail tire center in Duarte, California in 1987. The store's location provided a magnificent view of the snow-covered San Gabriel Mountains, so Nick decided to name his business Mountain View Tire and Service. Today, two of Nick's sons - Chris and Mike - serve as the company's vice presidents, and his youngest son, Paul, is a district manager. With a sister, a sister-in-law, and a brother-in-law also working alongside Nick, Mountain View Tire can truly be called a family-owned and operated business, meaning the family name and reputation are on the line every day. That is one reason the Mitsos family is so committed to exceeding the expectations of their customers.
